Dmitri Jackson is an illustrator and photographer based in St. Louis, MO. He also serves as instructional technologist for the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis.
Dmitri’s work has been featured in the Riverfront Times, Curiosus Magazine, and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
For the past decade, he’s managed Frotoon Press, an independent publisher of personal comic narratives exploring music, politics, culture, and identity. Dmitri’s work—inspired by Ben Passmore, Ralph Bakshi, Hunter S. Thompson, Spike Lee, Thelonious Monk, and The Simpsons—has been recognized by American Illustration, the North Street Book Prize and the National Indie Excellence Awards.
